Wellbeing baby scans are a great way to check for the overall wellbeing of the baby and to be reassured in times of anxiety. Our wellbeing baby scans in Liverpool are available from 16 - 40 weeks. This is an ultrasound baby scan which will:
Complete a fetal wellbeing check of the baby
Confirm and visualise the heartbeat for mum and others to see
Detect any fetal abnormalities if applicable
Check the position of the baby and placenta to ensure that baby and mum are safe
Check vital organs and limbs
This is suitable if you want an additional check up between your first and second routine scans provided by your healthcare provider. Our expertly trained team will provide you with the best care and information at this stage of your pregnancy. If anything is identified in your wellbeing baby scan here in Liverpool, which needs further attention, our sonographer will explain this to you and support you in obtaining further care. Available from 16 - 40 weeks.

20 minute appointment with our qualified diagnostic sonographer to undergo a comprehensive wellbeing check of the baby. Of which, 8-15 minutes of scanning time (length of scan depends on the position of the baby).
